Breakfast was great and the grounds beautiful.

The generator kept going out and then finally quit. No air-conditioning or power in my bure for the last two days of my trip.

Wonderful staff, could not fault the service, great location

Great location, amazing view from our room Nice having three restaurants to choose from, shame the seafood one is not open every night

Food was a bit hit and miss, having to pre-order each morning for the day was a little odd but ok - but they need a better system as twice the order was either forgotten completely or simply mucked-up. Most meals were good, but two were absolutely awful - dry overcooked whole fish and inedible pasta. A shame really as the other meals were great

I will absolutely be back here. Despite some of things I did not particularly like, I loved my stay!

All of the staff were soo friendly, helpful, accommodating and such a delight to be around. I love how they remembered mine and my friend's name from day 1. The property was beautiful! One of the many reasons for choosing this resort was that it sources it's food from the property and for this reason, guests are asked to choose their meals in advance. Savusavu town was minutes away and it was great to check out the local restaurants and hang out where the locals hang out. I stayed in a floating bure, which was very comfortable. It was a quiet location. I booked a couple services at their spa, it was the best spa experience ever, however, my friend and I were disappointed that the rain forest spa was under renos.

I think communication with staff and guests could be a bit better. The resort forgot to arrange a driver to pick us up from the airport the day we arrived in Savusavu, but thankfully we didn't have to wait long for someone to arrive. I booked 2 services with their spa but it was condensed without my knowledge even though I received several phone calls to confirm the timing. But, like I said the staff are amazing and the next day the lady made it up to me and even apologized in person for the miscommunication. My friend and I were extremely upset that we were not notified about the rain forest spa being under renovations until the day we arrived. We should have been notified during our booking. It was another reason for booking this resort.

Small considerations and flexibility go along way in hospitality

The location mostly for diving. Your gardens are beautiful. Your staff are kind and helpful. Thank you KSR and staff.

For the amount of money per night I perhaps expected a little more flexibility and kindness. I went diving all day, the same day I was expected to check out at 0700hrs. I returned from diving at 4pm and it would have been appreciated to shower at KSR after diving, and then pay the bill.

Overall good, nice location and facilities, could do with a bit of sprucing up.

Breakfast nice, but started a bit too late for those with planned excursions of snorkel dives, booked, etc. Most of food very nice, but some items like Mud crab looked spectacular, but impossible to actually eat.

Room not overly clean, narrow windows without curtains let light into bedroom area as soon as sun up, so couldn’t sleep past sunup, wait staff not particularly attentive, most of staff very pleasant

Very Good

Koro sun stay was fantastic! We stayed in a 3 bed villa and also in a 2b 2b. The 3 bed villa was fantastic and clean. The staff was really friendly and it is what makes the place worth it. The service for all the activities on campus from the babysitter services, to the activities desk to the friendly cleaning staff. The property location is also worth it with all the rainforest greenery and it being right off the water.

I think the resort may have been short staffed on chefs, and helpers in kitchen. Food orders always ended up taking hours, which was fun since it was a vacation (more drinks :) but with kids who were perpetually hungry, it made it difficult. The staff was always courteous but would benefit from more help in the kitchen.

« Les bures réservés aux adultes sont exceptionnel. »

le bure côté mer réservé aux adultes est exceptionnel, avec une mer cristalline à marée haute.+++++ Le snack est très bien, avec le personnel très à l'écoute.+++++

A part l'accueil à l'arrivée, il faut aller à la recherche d'informations. les bures sont éloignés de la salle de réception, avec la pluie on arrive mouillés à la salle à manger! Pour manger au restaurant le soir il faut obligatoirement réserver dés le matin!!! Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur d'un établissement de ce niveau!

„Erwartungen an ein Resort dieser Kategorie wurden leider NICHT erfüllt.

Leider ist nirgendwo zu lesen, dass die Wasserrutsche direkt an unserer Unterkunft (Treetop+Villa) beginnt und der Pool, in den die Rutsch mündet, damit auch nur 20 Meter entfernt ist. Somit war die Atmosphäre bzw. der Geräuschpegel eines öffentlichen Schwimmbades inklusive. Die Pumpe des zur Villa gehörenden Tauchbeckens hat ebenfalls eine Lautstärke, die nicht annehmbar.war und jemanden nachts nicht hätte schlafen lassen.. Daher müssten wir sie abschalten lassen. Am Morgen zu entscheiden, was man am Abend in einem guten Restaurant essen möchte, wenn man nicht in den Café/kleinen Restaurant einen Burger oder Pizza essen möchte, , ist wirklich unfassbar und habe ich noch NIE erlebt. Öffnungszeiten von 2 Stunden sind ebenfalls NICHT akzeptabel. Die auf Anfrage nachgereichten Badetücher hatten leider Flecken. Die Villa hatte zwar eine Whirlpool-Badewanne, aber weder funktionierte der Whirlpool, noch reichte die Kapazität der Warmwasseraufbereitung, um die Wanne für ein Bad zu füllen. Die im Haus notwendige Stehlampe konnte erst nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage nach einem passenden Adapter genutzt werden. Der Aufenthalt hat die Erwartungen leider überhaupt nicht erfüllt

The staff at KoroSun Resort were some of the loveliest most attentive people I've been lucky to meet. Always smiling and remember everyones name. We weren't happy with the accomodation we had booked and the management at the resort did everything possible to rectify the situation and we were finally upgraded to a wonderful tree top house which was wonderful and much appreciated. The traditional fovo night was a wonderful insight into Fijian culture and the choir on sunday was also really special. We also enjoyed travelling by locals into Savusavu town for market day - the true sense of Fijian life! What a magical place!! Finally the over 18s infinity pool with swim up bar on the ocean side of the resort was a truly luxurious wonderful adults only escape - i wish i could take it home with me!! xxx

The food was terribly overpriced and the choice was very limited - I didn't quite understand why the access to fresh fish in abundance and organic fruits and vegetables were not utilised on the menu - the buffet breakfast was one of the most limited i have ever known - and if eggs/bacon/pancakes are your desire - you must pay way over the odds to get them. An excellent executive chef is greatly needed here to train the kitchen staff and to utilise fresh local seasonal produce with a menu that inspires - this was a major downer for us - and we ended up trying to cook in our villa as much as possible as a result - shopping in the local market. Unfortunately due to the terrible cyclone a year ago, most of the beautiful coral seen on the advertising images is now dead, my hopes are that the reef can re-generate.

Edgewater Villas were exceptionally well designed. Having a ladder into the sea was a fantastic novelty. Also having a private pool to use during low tide was absolutely ace. It was great for soothing sunburn and romantic moments. The service was also very friendly and the fishing trip we booked through the diver company on site was excellent. The meanl cooked using this fish was absolutely exceptional unlike the other food experiences here

Air conditioner above the bed dripped on your head. Upstairs bathroom leaked into downstairs bathroom floor. Lunch was OK but we were only given one menu for 4 people. On the night we arrived there was only a buffet Mongolian and no other choices. So we ate out (unlike most we had a hire car). Breakfast was ordinary (especially compared to other places in Fiji with this sort of price tag). Cooked items were slow and appalling (#worst pancakes) and despite not having prices in the menu were not included in the package.

The staff were amazing. They can help you with anything :) Lots of honeymooners so if you’re looking for a chilled out place then this is for you!

There are three dining areas but some nights two aren’t open, so your options are quite limited. But you can get the bus to town for $1.55 and enjoy local restaurants and hospitality!

Amazing location; villa no. 1 superb; staff helpful, friendly and efficient; very good dive centre and helpful activity centre; bathrooms absolutely clean; plenty of towels; linen high standard; biggest balcony second only to Rino's motel, Aitutaki; I could manage brilliantly with my walker and get straight into the sea and the horizon-edge pool; lots of special features we had not experienced before. Spectacular gardens. We did self-catering apart from our continental breakfasts (included); the wifi near reception was well patronised by two of us; we had sunsets and sunrises from our villa and the two youngest of us did lots of enjoyable kayaking to the nearby island. Easy shopping by hire car or cheap taxi - town only 15 kms away. The Methodist choir was tuneful and charming. We had never seen a blue starfish before and didn't know they existed! Probably had my last ever swim in the sea and it was absolutely perfect in the lovely warm late-afternoon high tide. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and learning about the real Fiji. Anne

Sehr nettes Personal. Sehr gutes Lovo. Schöne Gartenanlage. Umfangreiches und empfehlenswertes Activity-Programm. Gerade die Ausflüge haben sehr viel Spaß gemacht.

Speisen sehr teuer. Küchenausstattung im Zimmer unvollstängig (z.B. Flaschenöffner fehlt). Die schönsten Orte des Resorts (Pool am Meer) sind adults only - für Reisende mit Kind sehr schade. Der Kinderpool ist leider die mückenreichste Ecke des Resorts. WLAN sehr limitiert.

Ruhig, gepflegt , erholsam, gemütlich. Wir haben drei Nächte hier verbracht und Haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück welches im Zimmer inkl ist, ist ok . Stand up paddle und kayak kostenfrei . Sehr freundliches Personal

Wenn man ein ausgiebiges Frühstückmit warmen Speisen haben wollte mussten 20F$ gezahlt werden. Die komplette Verpflegung muss im Hotel eingenommen werden da es außerhalb nichts gibt (für uns völlig ok) Wer auf Pünktlichkeit achtet muss in Fiji ein paar Gänge zurück schalten ...hier ist alles etwas flexibler. Das sind nur Kleinigkeiten, ich würde das Hotel für Ruhesuchende weiterempfehlen .
